In the long-running TV series Columbo, for which he won four Primetime Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe Award, Peter Michael Falk was an American actor and comedian, known for his role as Lieutenant Columbo. He first starred in two 90-minute TV pilots as Columbo, the first in 1968 with Gene Barry and the second in 1971 with Lee Grant.
