There are many creative ways to tell people not to come into your office. You could ask them nicely, or you could give them a good reason why they shouldn’t come in. But would that make them care? Would it give them the skills they need for the job they want to get? This note stops people in their tracks before they walk into the room. Like animals in a zoo, the things behind this door need a lot of warning and some soothing music to get used to people coming in.

We’re glad someone posted this note in reaction to another note because we’re also picky about fonts. If you can have two notes, why have just one? Someone at a Fortune 500 company, lest we forget, seems to have put up this sign telling people to keep the door shut. In this first note, they used six exclamation points, which is something to notice. Someone else in the company then said that they shouldn’t use the Comic Sans font because it should be banned, which was a fair point.
