The role of wizard and Hogwarts student Justin Finch-Fletchley in the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, in which he played a member of the Hufflepuff house and at first a friend of Harry’s, was his first professional acting role. Despite the fact that Randell’s character, a member of Dumbledore’s Army, appears throughout the book series, Randell himself only appeared in the films once throughout the series, and the character’s fate in the film series is unknown. Randell is also a member of the vocal group The Swingles, where he plays bass. He joined the group in 2012 and has been a member ever since. He also works as a freelance journalist, having graduated from City University London with a degree in Magazine Journalism.
