Leanne in the movie version of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince was played by Isabella Laughland, an English actress who was born in London. She reprised her role as Hermione Granger in the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Parts 1 and 2.

Eleanor Columbus As Susan Bones
Eleanor Patricia Columbus is the daughter of Chris Columbus, the director of the first two Harry Potter films, and his wife, Eleanor Patricia Columbus. Susan Bones, a character she played in both films, made a cameo appearance. Her siblings Brendan, Violet, and Isabella have also made bit parts in the Harry Potter films, though in minor roles. She is one of only three American actors who appeared in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, the other two being Zoe Wanamaker, who did play Madam Hooch, and Verne Troyer, who got to play Griphook. In order to maintain J.K. Rowling’s desire for a “strictly British and Irish” cast, only the Columbus siblings, Wanamaker, and Troyer are featured in the series.
