He has also given outstanding performances in Schindler’s List and The English Patient, in addition to Harry Potter. Robert Hardy As Cornelius Fudge
Cornelius Fudge, played by Robert Hardy, was a powerful Minister of Magic who had complete control over the wizarding world’s main governing body. Robert’s role as a political figure, however, was not limited to the Harry Potter series. He was well-known for his portrayals of former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, with whom he shared an uncanny resemblance. Robert Hardy died in August 2017 after a successful 70-year career in which he played memorable roles ranging from Shakespeare’s Henry V to Siegfried Farnon in All Creatures Great and Small.
