It was true that Harrison Ford and George Lucas are friends. However, they decided to work on an exclusive handshake basis when they worked on the first three films of the Star Wars series. The original trilogy grossed nearly $1.8 billion in the box office and an additional $5 to $25 billion through merchandise. The actor earned more than $6.5 million for the projects and pretty much went from broke to a millionaire overnight. He also made an extra $27 million for his short stint in The Force Awakens. It is shocking to think that this new movie came out over three decades later!

A lot of his fans believe that he is one of the greatest actors of the past few decades. Even though he has not worked as extensively as other actors out there, his roles have helped him become a household name. After all, not everyone can play Han Solo, Indiana Jones, and Rick Deckard! Empire magazine even gave him the top spot on its “The Top 100 Movie Stars of All Time” list. We daresay that it is an impossible feat to beat him considering the fact that he has played all of these incredible characters.
