Mikaela Shiffrin
Even though she is only her early twenties, Mikaela Shiffrin has already achieved so much. She made history as the youngest athlete to bring home a slalom run gold medal during the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics. She was no more than 18 years old back then. This was followed by gold and silver medals when she took part in the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics. She has become the face of the sport, which she definitely deserves. Amanda Nunes has made a name for herself as one of the most dominant UFC fighters. Did you know that she has been undefeated since September 2014? Her seven-match streak includes a domination of Ronda Rousey in 2016. In the same year, Equality California honored the athlete for her work in raising awareness for LGBTQ rights.
