Pipistrel Alpha electric

Manufacturer: Pipistrel Pipistrel Special feature: electric propulsion Estimated production cost: €93,600* The Alpha Elektro two-seater comes from Polish manufacturer Pipistrel, which was the first to switch to electric propulsion for its aircraft. The engine features a water cooler, which means that electricity costs would be around 10% of those of a gasoline-powered model. With 150-kilo LiPo batteries, the plane can stay aloft for up to 60 minutes. However, if you want to be in the air quickly, you can replace it in just 5 minutes. This makes the model the first and only commercially available electric aircraft
