Waiting outside
Rose understood him this time and informed the undertaker of David’s discoveries. She realized she couldn’t go on with the funeral unless this was resolved. Rose told David that they would check into it, and that all they had to do now was wait. David calmed down, and they went outside to wait.
A sign
The sun shone brightly over the cemetery. It normally rains at this time of year, but not today. Rose saw this as a sign. Her sister was keeping an eye on her. David brushed away a tear that had fallen her cheek. She glanced at him and realized everything was going to be OK.
