Robert Downey Jr. Now
Despite many career setbacks during 1996-2001, where Downey was arrested many times on drug charges and spent time in rehab centers and prison, he had a career resurgence from 2001 onwards and in 2008 finally became a star of his very own blockbuster, Iron Man. Iron Man is surely Downey’s most notorious role, becoming globally beloved as he aced the role. This lead to various standalone Iron Man films, as well as Avenger movies. Robert Downey Jr. is Iron Man, and it seems like he was born to play the role, excelling in the position.
Nicholas Cage Then
Cage has been a big name in Hollywood for some time now, appearing in some greats. Cage had many family members already active in the industry when he started out, such as his uncle Francis Ford, a director. Additionally he had cousin directors in Roman Coppola and Christopher Coppola and producer Gian-Carlo Coppola. Ford is responsible for ‘The Godfather’! Cage changed his name early in his career from Coppola to Cage to avoid accusations of nepotism. His film debut was in Fast Times at Ridgemont High in 1982.
