After seeing how good Harrison Ford was in Han Solo’s role, Steven Spielberg wanted to cast him in the role of Indiana Jones. However, George Lucas did not want to use the same actor in another one of his movies and instead cast Tom Selleck to play Indy. The actor dropped out of the role due to contract issues with his role in Magnum, P.I. While it was a wildly successful show in its own right, it has not quite elevated him to the same level of stardom that Indiana Jones would have.

Hugh Jackman – James Bond
Recently, Hugh Jackman shared that he had the chance to take on James Bond’s role in Casino Royale. The Australian actor was interested but had to turn it down due to his contract for X2: X-Men United. In the end, Daniel Craig got to play Agent 007 in a couple of films in the franchise. Jackson revealed that he would be interested if they offer him the part again in the future.
