Brooke Shields – Scarface
Did you know that Brooke Shields was offered the part of Elvira in Scarface? Sadly, her mom turned her in the wrong direction by suggesting that she should ditch the gangster flick and instead star in a movie called Sahara. Michelle Pfeiffer took over and became an even bigger star for it. So that you know, Shields ended up winning the Razzie Award for Worst Supporting Actor for this role. Not only that, but she actually made history as the first actress to bring home this award.
Jean Reno – The Matrix
This French actor has appeared in a couple of notable movies, but he missed out on Agent Smith’s role in The Matrix. Jean Reno turned it down as he refused to live in the Land Down Under to shoot it. He instead went on to play a French secret agent in Godzilla, which was torn to shreds by critics. On the other hand, The Matrix is well-loved even to this day.
