Parton was apparently considered to host a remake of the game show Family Feud in 1999. Parton either turned them down or chose Louie Anderson over them, depending on which version of the story you believe. Dolly has never hosted the show, regardless of how she feels about it.

In 1999, the Country Music Hall of Fame inducted Dolly Parton. Dolly has been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, the Nashville Hall of Fame, and the Grammy Hall of Fame, among many other Hall of Fame awards. Despite the fact that numerous country acts have been inducted, Parton has never been inducted into the Rock ‘N’ Roll Hall of Fame.
