It was thoughtful and bizarre, and many people realized that animation was an art form worthy of attention. On the other hand, the courtroom scene lets you scratch your head. We say this mostly because of Jose Carioca, a character. However, in a previously lesser-known movie by Disney, Saludos Amigos published in 1942, this bird appeared.
The Writing Says It All
Mulan is a masterpiece, yet we missed some portions of the film as kids. We understood that Mulan was a great lady, but we didn’t know the commentary about gender roles in this movie. We also missed that. This was something. A tomb in the background is covered with writing in this scene. If you have seen the movie already, you know that when this writing is translated it is just movie credits. This provides an excellent and intelligent way to recognize the filmmakers.
