Lion King WWII Reference
Disney movies are aimed at children and take place mostly in composed worlds, so tragic events from the real world rarely occur in the comics. However, this is, of course, how we all like it. Disney films should make us laugh and feel good, after all. A subtle allusion to contemporary events can be found, though, occasionally. Scar gives a lecture to his hyena warriors, as illustrated by The Lion King. There are many connections between the pictures around him and Nazi Germany that existed in WW2.
Lilo Is A Mulan Fan
Lilo & Stitch, which debuted in 2002, might nearly be regarded as an anticipator of the future Frozen and Moana big blockbusters. Lilo is a fervent young woman with a strong will, differing from Disney’s conventional ‘princess’ movies in the 1980s and 1990s. The distressed woman had worn her welcome, and audiences sought nuanced and amusing women’s leads. The film surely incorporates multiple Mulan references to another powerful woman, Disney, as a node to that front.
