Laverne Cox And M Lamar
In 2014, Laverne Cox, star of the Netflix series Orange Is the New Black, made history by becoming the first transgender woman to be nominated for an Emmy. A flashback moment in the episode featured a flashback to when she was still a firefighter called Marcus, which revealed that her character on the show, Sophia Burset, is a transgender woman. This role was played by Laverne’s real-life twin brother, M Lamar, who also happens to be her brother. Other males were considered for the role, but when the casting team discovered that Laverne had a twin brother, they invited him to participate in the auditions as well. He was unexpectedly cast in the role, and the rest, as they say, is history. Outside of his work as an occasional actor, Lamar is also a countertenor, a musician, and a multi-disciplinary artist. His work has also received acclaim from The New York Times, which described it as a “bracing alternative” to the art that is typically displayed in the city’s galleries.
Olly Murs And Ben Murs
Olly Murs, a former competitor on the X-Factor, has come a long way since his appearance on the show in 2009. He has had a lot of hit singles and has sold millions of records around the world as a result. He even had a role in the animated television series 101 Dalmatian Street, in which he voiced a character. There’s certainly a lot going on to keep him occupied these days! Unfortunately, it was Olly’s flourishing professional life that sparked a rivalry between him and his twin brother, Ben. In the beginning, it all started when Olly had to cancel his brother’s wedding due to his X-Factor commitments. The rest of Ben’s family became embroiled in the dispute, and he has been estranged from them, even going so far as to change his last name in order to further isolate himself from them.
