Remarkable Female Cosplayers That You Have To See

Published on 10/04/2020

Cosplay is a portmanteau of the word costume play-performing art in which people called cosplayers to dress in costumes and fashion accessories to represent a particular character. A list of the most outstanding female cosplays has been compiled below-take a look!

Green Lantern

Look at the incredible cosplay of Jessica Cruz. The eyes are unbelievable! We can only imagine looking at them for a very long time. Surfingthevoid made the outfit,  whose real name is Priscylla but goes by her alias on Deviant Art. The 23-year-old is described as a comic lover, a movie nerd, and a dreamer. It was done entirely by hand with that green lantern, and the same goes for her makeup.

Superwoman

We also love this costume created by @enjinight. Talk about an impressive rendition of Superwoman. If she ever begins to shoot lasers out of those peepers, we will be 100% sold. Truly, this is one woman of steel. She must be the best cosplay artist we have ever seen. You will see more of her later in this article!

Mystique

An award-winning costume worn at the San Diego Comic Con 2018 is what you are looking at. Under the Instagram handle @magnetomystique, you’ll find the cosplayer. It looks like your cosplay is meant for greatness if it matches your username on the social media platform. We don’t know if you’ve caught on to it already, but the lady is wearing a lycra body suit to bring Mystique to life in mid-transformation. It’s exactly like the outfit in the movies that Jennifer Lawrence wears herself. Rebecca Romijn Stamos portrayed the character before her.

Rogue

We think Liz Katz, the cosplayer, slayed it with this Rogue cosplay. Her big eyes are almost as big as her heart. She is a sensual lady, all jokes aside, who has no qualms about showing off her skin for art. Her account on Instagram is @lizkatzofficial. She is so big that there are copycats and fan accounts! When you hear something like this, you know that in life you’ve already made it. She also does modeling, and can kick your butt at video games. In her profile description, you will find everything you need to know!

Kida

Do you remember Atlantis’ Queen Kida? We daresay that everything needs to work out just fine because in terms of the costume, there is not much to work with. At any rate, no one can pull this off better than the Polish “Merrysynth” model. On Instagram as well, she uses that alias. You will see just how amazing she is at makeup on her account. She likes to change contacts, which explains why in one photo her eyes are brown and then the next one is blue. It’s her model lipstick you should see! She actually has dark hair but when she has a blonde wig on, you’d never be able to tell.

Princess Bean

Veronica here brought Princess Bean to life down to a tee. She even had her buck teeth and the mug! We think she would also make a great Daenerys. Her Instagram account for cosplay is @nika enot. There are more pictures posted by the 23-year-old Russian cosplayer, and we’re sure you’ll love them. She is gorgeous, but most of all, her work is like cinematic cosplay. Clearly, she is passionate about her craft. To get to know her better, you can also check out @hikka enot, her other account.

Valkyrie

@maweezy is an amazing Filipino cosplayer with 30k Instagram followers. There’s no denying Valkyrie looks amazing. If you look up online, you’ll see she’s making an amazing Bumblebee, Buzz Lightyear, and Harley Quinn. She even joined a panel discussion during the 2019 Awesome Con to discuss this topic: “Begin a Professional Cosplayer” with other cosplayers like Lua Stardust, Mikal Mosley, and Maki Roll. They spoke about the difficulty of negotiating contracts for different conventions, as they are not seen as real talents, but as fillers. Most of these individuals also have full-time employment. Maweezy’s actually a nurse!

Valkyrie

Valkyrie

Hellgirl

Another talented cosplayer is Tanuki Tinka Asai. She portrayed Hellboy’s gender-bent version here. You may not see it in that picture, but it’s down to his cloven hoofs. Besides all the red paint, she added leather accessories to the jacket, making an accessory belt. She admitted that the only comic character she’s a fan of is Hellboy. She did, however, also dress up like other characters. We love her photo series, “Winter Ginger,” which you’ll find on her Facebook page. It’s amazing!

Hellgirl

Joker and Harley Quinn

My, my, my. Don’t you think Ryoko-Demon and Rei-Doll look amazing as Lady Joker and Harley Quinn? Ever since 2002, the Russian cosplayers have been friends and teamed up to create the R&R Art Group so that they can show their skills and love for all the characters they love. Everything was created by hand.  You need to check them out on Instagram, Facebook, Patreon, and YouTube. Believe us! You’re going to love them!

Joker And Harley Quinn

Domino

Unique Sora is a lovely 23-year-old cosplayer who, it would seem, can transform into almost any character. The list includes DeadPool 2’s genderbent Domino. We know for certain that some of you can’t believe this isn’t the real thing. This is amazing, but she also did a wonderful job of portraying Lilo and Stitch’s Nani, Black Rose of .hack, and Esmeralda of The Hunchback of Notre Dame. On Twitter, she is active under the @uniquesora handle. Trust us, in the future, this Texas native will continue to surprise us all.

Domino

Daenerys Targaryen

The Russian cosplayer, Christina Fink, is also known as Christina Filinka Fox. In our opinion, her cosplaying talents are incomparable. Look at her as Daenerys! One of her posts as the Mother of Dragons even got over 18,000 likes. By following her on Instagram at @kalinkafox, feel free to make that figure even higher. We also want to clue you in on how beautiful she is as Harley Quinn and Wonder Woman!

The Wasp

How many of you have walked up to a pretty girl, had a good conversation, and forgotten to ask her for her number? That sums up the situation after taking this photo. It’s easy to say you’ll be charmed to learn more about a gorgeous cosplay model dressed as Wasp, right? Maybe you’d even asked the cameraperson in the background about her. However, you failed to do that. There’s nothing more we can do than adore this cosplayer and wonder who  she is.

The Wasp

The Wasp

Wonder Woman

Below is a gorgeous Chilean cosplayer all decked out in a Wonder Woman outfit. On both Instagram and Twitter, you will find her under the @RocioCosplayer handle. She is a fashion designer, a video gamer, a board gamer, and an enthusiast for cosplay. Truly, she is quite the package! She has dressed up as other video game characters like Batwoman as well, apart from Wonder Woman. We want you to know that she’s also a great Freddy Kruger. Finally, she is also Festigame ‘s Ambassador.

Storm

For your information, this sexy cosplayer is a model from Coser Cosplay. You can buy the Storm costume from the star in this photo for yourself! Of course, there are a lot of costume choices available. You can choose the size and if you want a zipper or a hood. We don’t know if you’re going to look that good, but it’s not impossible.

Storm

Dr. Strange

We doubt you’ve ever seen Dr. Strange look hotter than this before. The name of the stunning cosplayer is Rachel Meikle. She’s on both Deskgram and Instagram as @rachelmeiklecosplay. You will find other epic photos of the time she played Aurora and Cinderella. During Colossal Con, there was even a time when she played Spider Gwen! With the found object she incorporates into the outfits, she handmakes a lot of her outfits and gets very creative.

Dr. Strange

Hades

You must have seen this costume if you went to the 2015 Leipziger Buchmesse Manga Comic Convention or LBM. She’s a German cosplayer, Jacqueline, also known as Deviant Art’s Jacklinn. Cosplay seller Coserz, who makes outfits tailored to your measurements, gave her the Hades costume. Many cosplayers love their work! If you want one for yourself, it’s $115. Anyway, this model did her own makeup and body paint. Oh, she also made the wig all by herself and even made it for other people. See more of this talented lady on Deviant Art, Facebook , and YouTube!

Hades

Batgirl

We doubt that you have ever seen anything this epic side by side. Lola V gave Batgirl a shot, and she slayed it. Yes, she even wore the same yellow shoes that the character was wearing. Fans asked her if they were Doc Martens, and she said they were from a cheaper brand called Doc Mitchell’s. She colored it yellow on her own. If you want to see more of it, you can go to Instagram and look at @lola_v_cosplay. From there, you can also see the personal account of the New Zealand cosplayer.

Mantis

None other than @lianne507 or @lianne.cosplay is listed below. This native of Los Angeles runs both of these accounts, but on her YouTube channel, the real action happens. She posts about her cosplay projects and her incredible transformations. It goes without saying that you will find out more about this hot cosplayer! Doesn’t she look great as Mantis? To find the other Guardians posing next to her for photos, go through their social media feeds. You can also check her blog, HeyLianne, on Tumblr.

Raven

Oh, My Sophii is a cosplayer from the UK. She’s no stranger to the scene and thanks her pal named Cissa for taking her to a con in 2009 to kick off her love for crafts. She hasn’t stopped since then! This costume is great, but you must see her in other getups! She enjoys working on anime, comic and video games characters. When she’s wearing leather attire, she’s even hotter than hell. Her husband is her photographer. Well, we should thank him for his wife’s incredible shots. You can see more of her at @OhMySophii.

Kitana

Mortal Kombat was the hottest game in the 80s and 90s. People would stand for hours on end to hear “Finish Him!” We bet if this Kitana had been there, that people would have been willing to wait even longer. She’s a costume model for Etsy. Don’t worry, there were a lot of people buying this costume who gave great reviews and looked amazing. If you want to know, the shop is called the Kitana Store. Each order is made by a custom seller, a wig and a silver legging.

Pepper Potts

Katharina Kastian is a German cosplayer who creates amazing costumes and original designs like this original Iron Man / Pepper Potts costume. It looks so good they should cast her into a new Avengers film! The suit was made of high-density foam (3 mm to 5 mm) and then custom painted. The result is truly magnificent. Search her name to see more of her works. She runs an Etsy store where you’ll see her cosplay accessories and custom outfits, if you want to support her.

Pepper Potts

Pennywise

The next owner of this Pennywise costume could actually be you. It was made by Polyvore and is worth 60 bucks. The only thing you need to do is have the pigtails, the paint, and the red balloon. After all, it’s not going to be Pennywise without those things! The harsh reality, though, is that you’ll probably look less cute than this lady. We don’t think it should be possible to be both terrifying and adorable!

Pennywise

Samus

This cosplayer lives in Washington, Seattle. We’re not sure how she did all that rain photoshooting, but we’re not complaining. She’s Amanda and she’s originally from Canada. She is a lot of things at once: a dancer, a traveler, a gamer, a dreamer, a cosplayer, a raver, even a strong advocate of mental health awareness. She can also pull a zero-suit Samus off! It should be illegal to look so sexy!

Samus

Samus

Snow White

We’re going to admit that Snow White isn’t the most difficult character to dress up as. It’s probably two out of ten, one being the easiest, and ten the hardest. But not everyone can look this good! The costume helps, so make sure to get igt from this Etsy store. The wig completes the look and is loved by the customers who got it. The dress isn’t entirely custom-made, but it’s not hard to fix.

Snow White

Snow White

The Bride

If you thought it was difficult to dress up as the Bride of Kill Bill, you were wrong. You can just get this outfit from the Sugarpuss clothing store. For less than $150, and the shorts are probably the best part of it. It doesn’t come with a sword, even though it can be bought separately. Anyway, this yellow banana lycra jacket is just glorious. I If it weren’t for those lovely, steely eyes, it wouldn’t have been as amazing. The model must’ve been born to play The Bride!

Deadpool

One prolific cosplay enthusiast is Sutefanii Roozu. Her costumes are always perfect, and in any outfit, she is nothing short of gorgeous.  It’s a full-time gig for her, and we’re happy all goes well. Her website shows her incredible portfolio, listing about 30 sponsor relationships. There’s no primrose route in the industry, so it’s impressive that she made her career! We bet it helps that she’s drop-dead gorgeous. TThe Deadpool outfit below was part of a photoshoot for Fractured Photography. What else can we say after seeing her in a tight red leather outfit?

Deadpool

Deadpool

Captain America

No, she’s not a cheerleader for the Dallas Cowboys. She’s just a smoking hot cosplayer dressed up as a female Captain America. If you were so willing, you could do it yourself! It’s a bodysuit that only needed shorts and white boots to finish the look. A lovely cosplayer wearing a skin-tight outfit is even better off than a couple cups of Joe. The front zipper is quite impressive, too. Now, this is a real patriot!

Captain America

Captain America

Captain Marvel

In the next Captain Marvel flick, she could be a double for Brie Larson. She goes by OMgCosplay, and she is on Instagram under that handle. She has brought to life other characters as well.  You will love her Amazing Spiderman cosplay, and we are sure that it will also blow you away. She is active on Patreon, where she offers a number of tiers to suit whatever budget you might have. When it comes to cosplaying, this Texas native clearly knows more than most individuals!

Captain Marvel

Captain Marvel

Sailor Jupiter

We have no idea who would turn down the opportunity in their right minds to give Sailor Jupiter a lift. The cosplay was the creation of Gillykins, a Deviant Art user. Go there so that, in the outfits she made, you can be rewarded with images of her. You can get your fix by checking out her Instagram account:  @gilly_kins. Truly, we think it is cool that she posts on her Instagram account about her life. On top of her cosplay pics, we really like to take a peek into her personal life!

Sailor Jupiter

Punisher

Don’t be fooled by her puppy dog eyes and skin tight attire.Since she is also a marketing genius, Hannah Ray is by no means an average cosplayer. She’s a well-known industry lady, running a shop where she sells signed prints of herself in various outfits. For both IG and Twitter, she uses the handle @HannahRayNinja. To show off her cosplay skills, she uses those sites and promotes her Patreon account. You should definitely support her if she impresses you so you can access exclusive content!

Punisher

Jessica Rabbit

You will need a few essential things if you want to dress up as Jessica Rabbit. You must have good “assets” for one thing, and a face that could rival that of Marilyn Monroe. Now, don’t forget to put a red number that matches your long red locks on a shiny, shimmery, or sparkly slinky one. The last touch would be those purple gloves, which must slide past the elbows over your fingers to grip your arms firmly. Uh, don’t mind us, we just wanted to describe in great detail her unbelievable outfit!

Jessica Rabbit

Jessica Rabbit

Daredevil

We know it looks like a Daredevil cosplay, but there’s more to the story than that.  This outfit resembles Ann Tamaki ‘s hit video game Persona 5. This was her “Panther” outfit when it was time for the crew to live their Phantom Thief missions. You can learn more about this cosplayer by checking it out on Patreon under the handle “shiroganesama.” Be careful because there are NSFW images over there. Though we won’t blame you for signing up for that part.

Daredevil

Daredevil

Ant-Man

We didn’t think gender-bent Ant-Man was a thing, but here you go. The truth is most ants are women except soldier ants. When she did this cosplay, she knew exactly what she was doing. Let’s look closer at her suit, though. The black section is made of stretch vinyl, while the red is made of stretch knit fabric. The silver lines are Hobby Lobby piping, and the helmet was a gift for Christmas. Some pieces were broken when they got there, but she could fix them using superglue.

Ant Man

Ant-Man

Black Panther

We love the fact that these ladies have no problems playing gender-bent versions of male characters. This Black Panther cosplay is so epic that it even glows in the dark. IG user @cutiepiesensie made it, and it’s not even her best one yet. Check her page, and keep your jaw in check to prevent it from hitting the floor. She’s so amazing, and her cosplays are even better than the last. You can also check out her linktree, which is accessible on her IG.

Black Panther

Supergirl

Does the lady look familiar? Well, she should. It’s, after all, Laney Jade, the same cosplayer who did Aquawoman. She resides in Washington D.C. and has said, “I suppose I like to dress up.” She confessed she loves Batman best, which is a compliment since she cosplays many characters.  On Facebook, she has over 12,800 fans and close to 60,000 followers on IG. She’s a regular face on those “Best Of” cosplay lists, so finding her on ours isn’t surprising.

Supergirl

Supergirl

Gamora and Nebula

This cosplay looks like it could have come out of the actual Avengers movie. The outfits of Gamora and Nebula were made and worn by Sara Moni and Amber Skies. If you want to check out Sara online, it’s @KrayolaKid on Twitter and then @saramonicosplay on IG. When you see her work, you’ll see that her true passion is cosplay.  Meanwhile, Amber is @theamberskies on Twitter, and Amberskies on Facebook. Cosplay is more than a hobby for her. The two of them team up often!

Gamora And Nebula

Cyclops

Now we’re talking! Guys, this is what the cosplay is supposed to be about. In a homegrown Cyclops getup, the lady decked out is Camila Menezes. Cosplay has come a long way since it began. For almost every character you want out there, you can now buy a costume. This is the reason why artists like her deserve even more of our respect! Trust us, what she puts on her IG (@camenezesx) will impress you.

Cyclops

Cyclops

Kim Possible

We spoke earlier about Lola V, but she deserves more of the spotlight. Here she’s in the costume of Kim Possible. Perhaps the most amazing thing about that would be the fact that she had the flat stomach down pat. You can also play Kim Possible if you are fit enough to do justice to Batgirl. This is a simple outfit, but what makes it truly impressive is her physique. We are sure that you already know that not everyone, except Lola V, can pull off a crop top.

Kim Possible

Kim Possible

Sakura

Oooh, for this Sakura cosplay, DidsRainfall definitely deserves full marks. She even got her signature stare! As she always does, the female cosplayer takes a lot of pride in her skills. She herself made the top, and that looks like the trickiest bit of this ensemble. Completing this look are the white pants and pink wig. By looking up her name online, you can find her on Instagram and Facebook. She comes from Spain and is definitely one of the planet’s most gorgeous cosplayers.

Sakura

Sakura

Spiderwoman

Lakette isn’t just another good looking Spiderman cosplayer.  This Spanish beauty runs a YouTube channel that she uses to showcase her skills in cosplay and give others advice. You can easily access it by going to her Instagram profile  (@barraza_lakette). Go through her feed and you will surely notice that she tends to post photos of her in everyday outfits as well. Contrary to expectations, she is actually an architect. Awesome!

Spiderwoman

Spiderwoman

Lana Kane

Once again, Unique Sora impresses us by playing Lana Kane. Take a good look at these two photos and you will notice that the earrings happen to be the only discrepancy. Cosplayers who do not fear side-by-side looks are confident that the character has been replicated down to a tee by them. With the rest of the getup, Sora was able to make up for the little error. Those pink lips of hers are also gorgeous!

Lana Kane

Lana Kane

Pink Ranger

We’re sure you’d like to find out more about this Pink Ranger, so we’re going to give you her name: Angela Domanico. The cosplayer goes online through LadyDoombats, and then, her Instagram handle is @angeldomanico. Are you ready to hear more about her outfit? Supergeek Designs created the suit, but Zentai Zone took care of the sewing and printing. The helmet was a joint effort between My Mini Factory and Pixelart Props. Make sure you follow her because she’s both gorgeous and talented.

Pink Ranger

Pink Ranger

Wolverine

Well, it really doesn’t matter if one of Wolverine’s claws is missing, doesn’t it? This is still a very impressive gender-bent cosplay of a famous character, if you ask us.  The lady in question is called Rebecca, and she is from Maryland. She is on Instagram under the handle @becksters_lab. She also did cosplays of other characters from comic books, such as Batgirl and Captain Marvel. We can see why she is a hit at cons!

Wolverine

Wolverine

Black Cat

Meow! Meow! Here’s a photo of CutiePieSensei, the popular female cosplayer, this time as the Black Cat. From the mask to the hair to the zipper to the cleavage, she clearly paid attention to everything! The one deviation would be the pendant choker. She wore a ring, but the character has a solid one. It doesn’t really matter, anyway. We’re sure that the first time she put it up, this photo blew everyone away.

Black Cat

Black Cat

Harley Quinn

Look at the incredible Harley Quinn here! Russia’s Karishma Cosplay has done it again. This talented lady is a page model for @gamegirlscentral, and we understand why. Make sure to follow her on IG, where she goes by @karishma_cosplay_magic. She is not one to disappoint, and her display photo alone is worth hitting that follow button. She cosplays Harley Quinn a lot, and if you want to get prints you can get in touch with her! We only have respect for her hustle.

Harley Quinn

Harley Quinn

Tomb Raider

To appreciate the Lara Croft cosplay @enjinight put on, you do not need to be a video game fan. Is this not just unbelievable? If you have been living under a rock, the character is the star of the Tomb Raider game franchise. She is kinda like an Indiana Jones woman who can climb anywhere and is not afraid of snakes!

Tomb Raider

Tomb Raider

Aquawoman

In this gender-bent Aquawoman cosplay, doesn’t Janey Lade look amazing? She has also brought to life other characters from comic books. Supergirl, Marvel, and Quinn are on the list. By searching @LaneyFeni on Facebook and Instagram, you can see her portfolio. This photograph was part of a shoot by photographer “Hero Hotties.” Talented cosplayers like her are in the spotlight, offering more than a nice face. She is also @herobodies on IG, which will let you in on what it takes to have the perfect body.

Aquawoman

Aquawoman

Tinkerbell

Guys and gals, please keep your middle school references all to yourself. This could be the world’s most amazing Tinker Bell after all. If you want to check out her Instagram, her handle is @twerkingherkin; they do things in Brisbane , Australia. Which is where this cosplayer comes from! She also sells her cosplay prints and owns a Ko-fi account for new projects. She’s currently working on her Black Widow Costume End Game Avenger. Literally can’t wait!

Tinkerbell

Tinkerbell

She-Hulk

Thanks to his stunning photography, Jeff Zoet has made a name for himself. He uses his camera to capture our favorite cosplayers. This is Ginger Kutschbach, who dressed up as our favorite lean green machine. Most of the outfits you have seen so far come with multiple parts, but in this photo, it isn’t the case. All she needed was paint coat, white shirt, and distressed jeans. She already works out like crazy after all! To see her IG, it’s @chief_squat_low.

She-Hulk

Elsa

The cosplay of Elsa below is something else. Hannah Eva’s fans expected nothing less. To find more extravagant cosplays of Cinderella, Ariel, and many other Disney princesses, you only need a quick search for her. What’s Instagram’s handle? It’s @hannaheva. In just about any cosplay outfit, she is simply stunning and looks fantastic. A Facebook page, game codes, and a website that shows her incredible Princess Peach cosplay are also run by the model. You’ll find all those on her Instagram profile, so do yourselves a favor and check it out.
