Presidents of the United States have a history of being cheerleaders. During his time at Harvard University, Fraklin D. Roosevelt was a cheerleader. He became the editor-in-chief of The Harvard Crimson daily newspaper in addition to cheerleading. He continued his education and enrolled in Columbia Law School in 1904 after earning an A.B. in history. However, he dropped out in 1907. What is the reason for this? Because he passed the bar exam in New York. He did not become President of the United States until 1932.

Dwight D. Eisenhower, another US president who was a cheerleader, was no ordinary cheerleader. He possessed a wide range of abilities. After failing to make the baseball team at West Point College, he began his career on the football team. However, due to an injury he sustained on the field, he was forced to leave the team. Later in his life, he injured the same knee while horseback riding and boxing. As a result, he shifted his focus to fencing and gymnastics. He was a junior varsity football coach and cheerleader a short time later.
