This brought her to celebrity status in 1956. One American reviewer mentioned that it is “undeniably a creation of superlative craftsmanship.” She then later worked as an animal activist, even though she was penalized on five various occasions for inciting racial hatred.

You probably know her because of her lead role in the 60’s sitcom titled I Dream of Jeanine. Did you know that the producers of the show really want a brunette to play initially? They really don’t seem to want to repeat Bewitched’s footsteps for having a blonde girl as the female lead.  The starlet, nevertheless, captivated them that much that they didn’t seem to mind the shift they’re going to make in their plans.
