Don’t you want to give this little guy a big hug? Anything that looks this cuddly should be illegal. When this photo was taken, the beaver was enjoying an afternoon snack. He is nothing more than an infant, despite his mature appearance. Kits are young beavers that have improved their physical abilities. This is why it can swim from the moment it is born. If this is the case, the baby prefers to spend a month or so in or near the lodge. This just means more cuddles for their parents! We’re envious.
