A dispatcher named Sara answered the call when she heard it ring. When she picked up the phone, she could only make out a faint sniffing sound coming from the other end of the line. She developed an almost immediately alarming attitude as a result. She was aware that she needed to make an effort to calm the person on the other end of the line.

Sara became even more concerned when she finally realized that the caller was a young child. She had young callers on the line before, so it wasn’t unusual.
