The 5-year-old received no response. Elijah headed to his father’s room where he found him not there either when his father failed to respond. He searched the house, but he was still unable to locate his father, his brother, sister, or their dog. The young boy did not understand why none of them were to be found anywhere.

He couldn’t help but worry if they had experienced any terrible things. Or is there a chance that this is a joke? His sister had been pulling practical jokes on him when he least expected it to taunt him. After some while, he started to worry once more. This possibility could be ruled out because he remembered that his father and brother had never joined their sister in playing a joke on him.
