Rusev and Lana are yet another couple on WWE’s Total Divas who have offered viewers a glimpse into the true nature of their relationship. Inside the ring, the two have been associated as a couple, but they married for real in 2016. Rusev, sometimes known as “The Bulgarian Brute,” is a Bulgarian native. Lana, on the other hand, was born in Florida, despite her Russian femme fatale plot. They married in two weddings, one in the United States and the other in Bulgaria.

Who’d have guessed that this iconic WWE romantic plotline was based on true events? For a few years, the legendary women’s champion was in a relationship with the WWE superstar. Lita, on the other hand, began an affair with Edge, who was still married at the time. The circumstances were eventually used by WWE to show animosity between the two men a few years later. Onscreen, Lita and Edge had a strongly sexualized connection that looked to mirror their offscreen relationship. She later went out with CM Punk, while Edge moved on to another wrestler.
