Neighbors came out
As the excitement grew, more and more neighbors stepped outside their homes, curiosity and concern on their faces. “What happened, Kenneth?” one of them asked. Kenneth, who could barely conceal his panic, hastily explained: “Pablo and Scooter have disappeared, they escaped through a hole in the fence.” Concerned looks ran through the rows and the previously relaxed evening was abruptly interrupted. “We’ll help with the search!” a neighbor immediately offered and hurriedly made his way down the street.

Kenneth desperately knocked on every front door in the street and asked the neighbors if anyone had seen Pablo and Scooter. But he kept getting the same answer: “No, we haven’t noticed anything.” Everyone shook their heads, and the silence of the neighborhood only increased his fear. “Please keep your eyes open,” he begged urgently, hoping that someone had seen something, some small thing that could provide a lead to his son and the dog.
