Concerned about safety
Kenneth and Lyla became increasingly anxious the more they thought about Pablo’s safety. “What if Scooter accidentally hurts him?” Lyla asked worriedly. “Or takes him somewhere dangerous?” Kenneth nodded gravely, the same fears in his mind. “We need to find them now,” he said firmly. They realized that Scooter’s intentions were not malicious, but the situation was fraught with risk. “We have to tell the police what we’ve seen,” Lyla said, her voice quivering. Kenneth immediately picked up the phone.

Worried about safety
The phone rang
Suddenly, the ringing of the phone broke the tense silence. Kenneth immediately picked up the receiver. “Hello?” A policeman answered on the other end in a serious voice. “We’ve found Scooter, but not Pablo.” Kenneth’s chest tightened painfully. “Where is he?” Lyla asked breathlessly as she leaned closer to the phone. “Scooter’s being brought to you right now,” the officer explained. “Please stay in the house, we’ll be right there.” Kenneth and Lyla exchanged a worried glance as they waited for further news.
