The Elephant In The Room
Julia went on teaching, oblivious to the elephant in the room. Snickers and mumbles followed her through the corridors and play area, and she was well aware of them. Her coworkers had begun to suspect her, attempting to treat her as if she were frail but unwilling to confront her about her appearance. However, she was well aware that she would have to persevere. She was adamant about finishing the course. She lowered her head as a result and walked as quickly as she could.

Julia was surrounded by questions about whether she was too strange to be a teacher and if her behavior was affecting the students, as one might expect. A few parents were also approached by the principal, who attempted to persuade them to attend a committee meeting. Was Julia going to get in trouble for wearing the same clothes every day? She, on the other hand, did not break any rules.
