Ford Model A Mail Truck

The Ford Type A Mail Truck joined the United States Postal Service in 1928. It was seen in the ’30s and ’40s. It wasn’t just Model A, though, because Model AA was also deployed. Back then, there were 4,300 retired mail carrier units. This model had a range of body choices that included setting up a taxi, an ambulance and a funeral bus.
