Not What She Thought
Well, as it turns out Karen had assumed wrong. She assumes that all was good and the teacher was most likely just doing her job and trying to keep order within the classroom. She did not for a second think the teacher could actually have been horrible to her son, it made no sense that a teacher would be mean to a child. It would soon come to her attention that she was in fact very wrong, the teacher had actually been mean and her son had every right to be sad.

Avoiding School
Karen had, of course, checked out the school before just enrolling her child in the institution. On her visit, she was satisfied with the school she really liked it. Her son on the other hand did not pick up the same vibe she did. From the get-go he did not want to go to school, he started to suddenly feel sick everyday. He would complain in the mornings and say he felt ill. However, it was when Karen fetched him from school she noticed that his mood was totally down and iffy.
