A voice broke through the whispers of the throng as Dwayne turned back to the guard. “Watch out for the king’s guard!” The guard bellowed. Dwayne took a few steps back, surprised by the abrupt sound from the previously quiet and still guard, but he quickly got back up.

Dwayne understood that, if he didn’t exaggerate his actions, this was the only thing the guard could do. Dwayne only needed to know that the guard was irritated by his actions since he issued this warning. He continued his behavior, not knowing he would soon be in trouble.
