An attack seemingly prompted Sydney to change her name and move
Sydney Simpson appeared to want to be as far away from the rest of her family as possible for a time. Unfortunately, it appears that the apple never falls far from the tree, lending credence to the notion that O.J. or his son committed the heinous murders. Why? Sydney, it turns out, has also had a run-in with the law. She was accused of assaulting two teens in 2005 and only stopped after police arrived to remove her from the scene. That seemed to be enough for Sydney to leave her family behind her. She reportedly changed her name at the age of 29 and is now out of the spotlight.
O.J. Simpson has been arrested multiple times
O.J. Simpson’s run-in with the law during the Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman trial was far from his first run-in with the law. He’s been in trouble more times than most people can count. O.J. was arrested in 2001 for burglary and violence and faced up to 16 years in jail before being acquitted. The former athlete was also accused of money laundering and possession of prohibited narcotics the same year, and he was eventually sued in federal court for the crimes. The most unique incident, on the other hand, occurred in September 2007, when the Palace Station hotel and casino in Las Vegas was robbed with guns. Simpson was questioned and admitted his involvement.
