Although he and Jessica were very content together, Jessica always sensed that Steven was acting strangely. It was as if he could not truly be himself. She knew roughly where Steven would travel and had prepared the materials she needed. He was wandering down a narrow trail he had carved out for himself that appeared to go on forever when she covertly seen him enter the woodland a couple of times earlier.

After over two hours of strolling, Jessica had not seen anything interesting or noteworthy. It only kept making a tiny rightward curve. She was aware that something had to be hiding here. She couldn’t be far now, could she? So you can imagine how thrilled she was when she eventually noticed that the route was becoming wider and that more sunlight was shining on it! But what she would ultimately discover would leave her deeply disillusioned.

Jessica recognized she had exited the jungle once more when she stepped onto the wide space. In fact, she could see her house from a distance. It appears that Steven’s route circled around for almost 2.5 hours! Was he truly always going along this road? And did it indicate he was telling the truth when he said he merely wanted to go for a stroll every day? Had she been mistrustful of her husband without cause?

As she emerged from the woods that day, Jessica felt a newfound appreciation for the depth of Steven’s love. She knew it was time for them to have an open and honest conversation, to share their fears and vulnerabilities, and to embark on a journey of healing together. Jessica believed that her only alternative was to just trust her husband, like any other wife would, and she tried very hard to do so over the following week.

That first stroll through the forest took over 2 hours to finish, she knew that the next opportunity for her to search in other areas along the path would be next week, when Steven had to work from his office.

But Jessica saw that Steven was speaking to his wife less and less, and she even thought he avoided her while they were in the house together. The significant finding was that when Steven was moving through the woodland, he didn’t appear to turn around even once. Jessica could see that her husband was completely at ease among these trees based on his body language. On one occasion, she had even heard him whistling aloud.

Fortunately, Jessica was able to retrieve her binoculars before leaving. She could watch Steven from a safe distance behind him in this manner. She was really anxious since she had no idea what she would learn or what would happen to their relationship if her husband discovered she had followed him here. He clearly did not want her to know what he was doing to in these remote woods, as was evident.

The main secret that had been tearing them apart over time will now be revealed to her. After following Steven’s “path” for nearly an hour, Jessica soon understood why she had not discovered anything when she had previously walked it. By this point, they had arrived at a section of the forest where there were no signs of any kind of route and it appeared like no person had ever set foot there. He simply kept walking without pausing to search for the path or navigate. Where the hell were they going? She had no idea where he was directing her.

Additionally, some of the thoughts she proposed were too horrific to contemplate! She was confident that whatever Steven was keeping from her would not be anything like that.

She didn’t want to let him get away from her.

She was relieved to see that her husband had remained in place. Jessica thought that he was looking for something because he was squatting and digging around in his rucksack, but she had no idea what. Maybe he was looking for a compass because he got lost. Or was he growing peckish and wishing for a snack? She reasoned that she could use a snack herself, but she was shocked and a little perplexed when she saw what he had pulled out of the bag.

She noticed that he had taken two items out of the bag before putting the backpack back on. She couldn’t see what was inside the first one because she had to change her hiding spot, but now hee was holding a plastic bag. The second object was a flashlight, which only served to further confuse her.
