Harry Melling
Coincidentally, Dudley, Harry Potter’s mean cousin, was portrayed by a Harry – Harry Melling. The actor lost so much weight while filming that he almost lost the role. Thankfully, special effects helped him out. Melling also portrayed Harry Beltik on the popular Netflix series The Queen’s Gambit, in case you missed it. Also, not many people know that Melling’s maternal grandfather starred on Doctor Who as the Second Doctor.

Miranda Richardson
The manipulative Rita Skeeter made her mark in a couple of Harry Potter films: The Goblet of Fire (2005) and The Deathly Hallows – Part 1 (2010). After Miranda Richardson played the character in the movie series, she mentioned to Behind the Lens that the films are timeless. In 2011, Richardson explained, “I think it’s a great thing to be part of. I think it’s something that’s gonna last, even though special effects move on at pace.”
