Jill Belland
Jill Belland is another celebrity who began her career as a cheerleader. She took a slight detour in college after studying classical piano and training to be a singer as a child. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Media Studies from the University of Calgary’s Faculty of Communications and Culture. After that, she became a member of the Calgary Stampeders Outriders cheerleading squad. That was the start of a four-year journey. She would sing the national anthem at home games when she cheered with the Stampeders.

Teri Hatcher was a cheerleader for the San Francisco 49ers before becoming a famous actress! She hadn’t yet made it to the small screen in 1984; instead, you’d see her on NFL game days. She went on to pursue a career as an actress after that. With time, she began to land major roles, such as Susan on Desperate Housewives and an appearance on Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.
