Denise Richards has played a number of recognizable roles, including Carmen Ibanez of Starship Troopers in 1997, Kelly Van Ryan of Wild Things in 1998, and the Bond girl Christmas Jones of The World Is Not Enough in 1999. However, she has done other film projects as well, such as the mockumentary Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999), slasher film Valentine (2001), action comedy Undercover Brother (2002), comedy horror Scary Movie 3 (2003), romantic comedy Love Actually (2003), and comedy Madea’s Witness Protection (2012).

Using a dumb model persona and her swimsuit figure, Denise Richards experienced some success in B-movies and comedies throughout the ’90s. Unfortunately, after her performance in The World Is Not Enough, where she portrayed a nuclear scientist unconvincingly, her career took a turn. However, she continued to make appearances in movies and on TV. One of her more recent projects include returning for season 10 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which premiered in April 2020. In September of the same year, Richards’ representative confirmed that she is leaving the series.
