Mariska Hargitay
Mariska Hargitay made her onscreen debut in the horror comedy film Ghoulies (1985). However, she is famous for playing Detective Olivia Benson on the longrunning show Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, which has been running for more than 20 years. The actress has been part of the series since its 1999 debut and has received plenty of accolades for her performance on the show, including a Golden Globe and a Primetime Emmy Award.

She suffered a partially collapsed lung and had to undergo surgery in January the following year. Outside of acting, Hargitay established the Joyful Heart Foundation, which provides support to individuals who have experienced sexual abuse. She and her husband Peter Hermann have three children together.
