The actress is mostly known for appearing on the Nickelodeon show All That, which ran from 1996 to 2000. She then had her own series called The Amanda Show. After this, she starred and appeared in several successful films in the 2000s, including the 2003 comedy What a Girl Wants, the sports comedy film She’s the Man in 2006, and the musical Hairspray (2007). She also did some voice acting in the 2005 animated film Robots.
