Her film debut was through the 1993 erotic thriller The Crush. Alicia Silverstone’s performance in the movie earned her an MTV Movie Award. She then blew up when she played Cher Horowitz in the popular 1995 teen movie Clueless. This led to Columbia Pictures offering the young star a multi-million dollar deal.
