Brandy Norwood
Brandy Norwood, or simply known as Brandy, played the title character on the ’90s show Moesha. The series ran six seasons and opened up more opportunities in acting for the star. When Whitney Houston produced the multicultural TV movie version of the Broadway classic Cinderella, she chose to play the Fairy Godmother and suggested Brandy for the title role. Aside from a successful acting career, Brandy also had plenty of success as a singer, with a couple of number one singles and a Grammy award.
